Hey everyone, it’s Jim, welcome to our recipe page. Today, we’re going to make a special dish, beef stew. One of my favorites food recipes. This time, I will make it a little bit tasty. This will be really delicious.

Stifado is a Greek beef stew and my all-time favorite Greek dish. Chunks of tender beef are cooked with shallots in a rich aromatic tomato sauce. Serve with boiled rice and a good supply of crusty bread to mop up the rich sauce! With switched-up ingredients and creative twists, these variations elevate the classic from familiar to fabulous.

Beef stew is one of the most favored of current trending foods in the world. It is enjoyed by millions daily. It’s easy, it is quick, it tastes yummy. Beef stew is something that I have loved my whole life. They are nice and they look fantastic.

To get started with this particular recipe, we have to first prepare a few ingredients. You can have beef stew using 9 ingredients and 3 steps. Here is how you can achieve that.

The ingredients needed to make Beef stew:
  1. Take 1 pound beef tips cut into bite size
  2. Get 16 oz bag of baby carrots (I used the multi color ones) cut in half
  3. Get 24 oz bag of red potatoes (I used ones with different ones for color) cut into bite size
  4. Make ready 1 large red (or favorite) onion diced
  5. Prepare 32 oz beef broth
  6. Prepare 2 tablespoons red wine vinegar
  7. Prepare 3 sprigs Rosemary sprigs of thyme taken off sprigs and muddled together
  8. Prepare to taste Salt pepper
  9. Take 2-3 tablespoons Olive oil about

Everyone will love this, especially on those chilly nights! We just got back from Los Angeles. Add the beef, beef broth and bay leaves. Bring to a boil, then reduce to a slow simmer.

Steps to make Beef stew:
  1. Heat olive oil to pan add beef cook until brown remove from pan
  2. Add red wine vinegar stir scraping any meat bits with it
  3. I use a crock pot add scrapings and beef broth meat potatoes carrots cook on high for about 3-4 hours until meat is about tender cook on medium until ready to eat… at this time I added canned green beans you can add corn as well for variety

Add the beef, beef broth and bay leaves. Bring to a boil, then reduce to a slow simmer. Add beef back to dutch oven then add broth, wine, Worcestershire sauce, thyme, and bay leaves. Bring to a boil then reduce heat to a simmer. In a small bowl mix together the flour, salt, and pepper; pour over meat, and stir to coat meat with flour mixture.
