  1. Take 1 cup Cleaned and deveined prawns
  2. Take 1 cup Basamati rice
  3. Make ready 2 medium sized Chopped onion
  4. Prepare 1 tsp Ginger-garlic paste
  5. Get 1 tsp green chilli paste
  6. Take 1 tbsp Biryani masala
  7. Get 1 tsp Garam masala powder
  8. Get 2 tsp Kashmiri red chilli powder
  9. Get 1 tsp Jeera powder
  10. Prepare 1 tsp Coriander powder
  11. Prepare 1 tsp Turmeric powder
  12. Get 1 tbsp Mint paste
  13. Make ready 1/2 cup Yogurt
  14. Make ready 2 tbsp Lemon juice
  15. Get 3 tbsp Kesar milk
  16. Take 4 tbsp Caramelized onions
  17. Make ready As required Salt
  18. Prepare 6 tbsp Oil
  19. Get 2 tbsp Ghee
  20. Take 1 cup Warm water
Steps to make Spicy Prawn Biryani :-:
  1. Basamati rice soaked in warm water for 1 hour.
  2. Mix salt, lemon juice and turmeric powder with the prawns.
  3. Heat oil on a kadai.
  4. Add chopped onion and saute till well browned.
  5. Add ginger-garlic-green chilli paste and saute for 1 minute.
  6. Add prawns and cook for 3 minutes.
  7. Add all the spice and mix well.
  8. Now, add basamati rice and warm water.
  9. Cover the lid and let it cook for 15 mins on a low flame.
  10. Open the lid and sprinkle kesar milk, a pinch of biryani masala, ghee and caramelized onions.
  11. Cover the lid again and let it cook for 5 mins on a low flame.
  12. Serve hot with lemon and green chillies.
