  12. Get 4 TBS minestrone soup granules
  13. Get 1 tsp garlic and ginger paste
  14. Make ready Drizzle olive oil

Instructions to make Stewing beef:
  1. Peel both carrots and potatoes and dice them and boil for 20 minutes
  2. In a pot drizzle the oil and coat the meat with flour and once coated, then fry until they are all brown, once brown then pour 250ml of water and cook it for 1 hour 15 minutes
  3. Then chop the onion and once the meat is soft and tender, then pour the onion and add ginger and garlic paste then spice the meat with all the spices
  4. Stir the meat and once it has the creamy look, then pour the drained potatoes and carrots in the meat
  5. Stir and simmer for a few minutes and then make a soup mixture and pour it to be thick.
  6. It goes well with dumpling, rice and pap

Add the beef, beef broth and bay leaves. Bring to a boil, then reduce to a slow simmer. Beef sold for stew (that is, trimmed and cut into bite-size cubes) is generally chuck or round—tough cuts that become tender and flavorful when slowly simmered in liquid. Beef round cuts (bottom and eye) are generally leaner than chuck (shoulder, leg and butt) and very well-suited to stew. Heat olive oil in a large stockpot or Dutch oven over medium heat.
