  2. Get 1/2 cup oil

  7. Take Handful Coriander leaves
  8. Prepare 1 teaspoon red chilli powder
  9. Prepare 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
  10. Prepare 1 tsp coriander powder
  11. Get 1/2 tsp Garam masala
  12. Get To taste Salt
  13. Make ready 2 tablespoons oil
  14. Take 1/2 tsp mango powder
  15. Take 1/2 tsp chaat masala
  16. Take 1/2 tsp cumin seeds
  17. Prepare 2 tbsp gram flour
  18. Prepare 1/4 tsp Hing
Steps to make Onion kachori:
  1. First we will make a dough
  2. In a bowl mix all purpose flour, 1/2 cup oil, salt as per taste and make a soft dough by adding little water. Let it rest
  3. Meanwhile till the dough is set, we will prepare the filling
  4. For filling, take a pan add 2 tbsp oil let it become hot then add hing and cumin seeds.
  5. Then add medium sized chopped onion, sauté till they become translucent
  6. Then add gram flour, sauté till the raw smell is gone
  7. Then add all spices and mix
  8. Then add boiled mashed potato
  9. At last add coriander leaves, let the filling cool down
  10. Now take a small portion of dough and roll it
  11. Then in the center add filling and close it properly so that while frying the filling doesn’t come out… you can roll it and give a shape of disc.
  12. Deep fry them on a low flame until golden brown
  13. Serve it hot with coriander sauce or tamarind chutney.
