In a large saucepan over medium heat, combine the beef and onion and saute until meat is browned and onion is tender. Add the stewed tomatoes with juice, tomato sauce, beans and water. Add the chili powder, garlic, bay leaf, cumin, chile peppers, tomatoes, tomato sauce and salt and pepper to taste. Bring to a boil and reduce heat to low.

  2. Make ready 1/4 onion, chopped

  4. Take 1 can pinto beans, with liquid
  5. Take 1 can garbanzo beans, with liquid
  6. Take 1 can black beans, with liquid
  7. Take 1 can red beans, with liquid
  8. Take 2 can diced tomatoes, with liquid
  9. Make ready 1 can Rotel (hot or mild), with liquid
  10. Prepare 1/2 bag of corn (optional)
  11. Prepare 1 packages taco seasoning
  12. Prepare 1 packages ranch seasoning
  13. Get 1 optional: shredded cheddar cheese

Add onion and garlic, and cook until the onion is soft. Place the ground beef in a large pot and throw in the garlic. Cook over medium heat until browned. Drain off the excess fat, and then pour in the tomato sauce, chili powder, cumin, oregano, salt.

Instructions to make Easy Chilli:
  1. Chop onion and saute in a little bit of olive oil over medium high heat.
  2. Break up ground beef and add to pot. Use a spoon to break it up while it cooks. Cook until no longer pink, 5-7 minutes…
  3. Add beans, tomatoes, rotel, seasonings, corn and raise to high heat.
  4. Once you bring it to a boil, reduce to medium heat and cover for 50 minutes.
  5. Enjoy!
  6. Optional: top with shredded cheddar cheese. I serve it with either white rice or blue corn tortilla chips.
