  1. Prepare 3 tbsp butter, melted
  2. Make ready 3 cup corn chex (or chex of your choice)
  3. Get 1 lb ground beef
  4. Take 1 tsp chili powder
  5. Prepare 3/4 tsp seasoned salt
  6. Get 1/4 tsp garlic powder
  7. Make ready 1 dash pepper
  8. Take 1 dash onion powder
  9. Prepare 8 oz Tomato sauce
  10. Make ready 1/2 cup Taco sauce
  11. Take 15 oz can corn, drained
  12. Prepare 12 slice American cheese
Steps to make Mexican Casserole:
  1. Combine melted butter & chex. Toss to coat well. Put 2 cups in bottom of shallow baking dish. Crush remaining chex. Set aside.
  2. In skillet, brown beef & drain. Add seasonings. Mix in tomato & taco sauces.
  3. Layer half the corn, meat mixture, & cheese over chex in baking dish. Repeat with remaining corn, meat, & cheese. Sprinkle reserved chex crumbs over top.
  4. Bake in 325°F oven for 35 minutes or until edges are bubbly.
