  4. Take 16 ounces hominy canned and drained
  5. Get 16 ounce asparagus spears frozen
  6. Make ready 16 ounce fire roasted tomatoes
  7. Make ready 1 cup celery
  8. Get 1 pound baby Yukon gold potatoes
  9. Prepare 1 pound baby carrots
  10. Get 1/3 cup dehydrated onions
  11. Make ready 1 teaspoon granulated garlic powder
  12. Prepare 1 teaspoon ground white pepper powder
  13. Prepare 2 teaspoon kosher salt
  14. Get 2-1/2 tablespoons demi glance powder
  15. Get 2 quarts beef broth divided
  16. Prepare 2 pounds kale fresh
Instructions to make Sykes Soup:
  1. Cut the potatoes into sixths. Start Browning the sausage. Slice the celery, add to the sausage, add and stir in the potatoes with the sausage and celery.
  2. Drain the hominy. Chop the asparagus. Add the carrots, hominy, tomatoes, and asparagus, add to the sausage mixture. Add the salt, pepper, and onions. Stir well. Chop the kale and one and a half quarts of the broth.
  3. Stir in the demi glace powder mix. Simmer covered 25 minutes. Add rest of broth. Allow to simmer 10 minutes. Serve. I hope you enjoy!!!
