  1. Prepare 1 cup idli batter
  2. Get 4 tbsp Nylon sev
  3. Take 2 tbsp pomegranate kernels
  4. Make ready 1 cup beaten curd
  5. Get 3 tbsp tamarind chutney
  6. Take 3 tbsp green mint chutney
  7. Make ready 1 tsp mustard seeds
  8. Prepare 2 sprigs curry leaves
  9. Take 2 tbsp oil
  10. Take 1 tsp urad dal
  11. Take 1/2 tsp chaat masala
  12. Get 1 Chopped Onion
  13. Prepare 1 Chopped tomato
  14. Get 2 tbsp coriander leaves
Instructions to make Idli Chaat:
  1. Heat up an idli steamer - Grease idli stand - I have made button idlis but big idlis too can be made.
  2. Pour idli batter in the greased cavities and let it steam for 5-10 minutes
  3. Once cooled take them out from the mold.
  4. Keep the beaten curd and both chutneys ready
  5. Take a wok, add oil and mustard seeds. Let them splutter. - Once they crackle add curry leaves and urad dal. - Let the dal fry and turn red.
  6. Now add salt and red chilli powder. Stir well - - Add idlis to the wok and mix well so that all button idlis get well coated
  7. Now place the idlis in the serving plate. - Pour beaten curd over them. - - Out red and green chutney as per liking
  8. Sprinkle nylon sev and pomegranate kernels on the top. - - Sprinkle onions and chopped tomatoes if using
  9. Sprinkle some chaat masala powder and coriander leaves - - Serve immediately
