The ingredients needed to make Dahi vada:
  1. Prepare 250 gm udad dal
  2. Make ready Oil for frying
  3. Take 4-5 green chillies
  4. Prepare 10-12 curry leaves
  5. Get Salt to taste
  6. Prepare 1 pinch soda
  7. Make ready 1/2 tsp ginger garlic paste
  8. Prepare Water
  9. Prepare 750 gm dahi
  10. Make ready 6 tsp sugar
  11. Take 1 tsp chaat masala
  12. Prepare 1/4 tsp black pepper powder
  13. Make ready For garnishing
  14. Take Coriander powder
  15. Make ready Zeera powder
  16. Prepare Red chilli powder
  17. Get Chaat masala
  18. Make ready Tamarind chutney
  19. Prepare leaves Coriander
Instructions to make Dahi vada:
  1. Soak the udad dal for overnight and in a jar add green chilli+curry leaves+salt+soda+Gg paste n a little bit of water and grind it finely.now keep better for half an hour.
  2. For Dahi : - In a dahi add sugar+chaat masala+salt +black pepper powder n mix it well.
  3. Put a Kadhai over a high flame n heat oil in it.now deep fry our Wada in a medium flame for sometime then fry on low flame till golden brown n soak our vadas in a water for about 1/2 an hour. Now,gently press the soaked vadas between your palms and squeeze out the water and lightly crush them.
  4. Place them in a plate and add sweet curd over them n garnish with our spices+tamarind chutney n coriander leaves.
