  3. add enough water to cover ingredients completely.

Add beef stock, cream of mushroom soup, onion soup mix, and a bay leaves, bring to a simmer. Cover and let simmer for an hour. Stir in wine, scraping any browned bits from the bottom of the stockpot. Stir in beef stock, thyme, bay leaves and steak. Into the slow cooker add the onions, carrots, potatoes, broth, second half of the salt, tomato paste, bay leaf, thyme, garlic and Worcestershire sauce.
