  1. Prepare 1 cup dhuli moong dal, soaked in water overnight,
  2. Prepare Pinch hing,
  3. Make ready to taste, salt
  4. Make ready 1 med sized onion chopped finely,
  5. Prepare 2-3 green chilli chopped finely,
  6. Prepare 1/2 tsp red chilli powder,
  7. Get 1/2 tsp garam masala powder,
  8. Take as needed Some dhania patta chopped,
  9. Take as needed oil for frying,
Steps to make Moong Dal Pakora:
  1. Strain dal. Take a mixer jar, add dal & hing, grind it to a fine paste. Add water if required.
  2. Take a wok, add good amount of oil, heat it.
  3. Mix all the ingredients into the moong dal paste, mix it well. Keep aside for a while.
  4. Now take small portions of the mixture, drop in the hot oil. Lower the flame now.
  5. Deep fry it till light brown, do not over cook it.
  6. Now take out on absorbent paper so that extra oil is absorbed.
  7. Plate it & serve it with some chutney or dip.
