The ingredients needed to make Methi pulav:
  1. Get 1 cup methi leaves
  2. Get 2 cups basmati rice
  3. Take 1 onion
  4. Take Boiled 1 potato, 2 carrots and beans
  5. Get 4 tsp coconut
  6. Get 2 tsp ghee
  7. Get Cardamom
  8. Prepare 4 cloves
  9. Take 1 cinnamon stick

  16. Take 1 tsp bisibelebath powder

  18. Get Cashews
  19. Get 1 tbsp lemon concentrated

Methi Chana Pulav or Fenugreek Chickpea Pulav Recipe. Methi pulao or menthe soppina pulav recipe explained with step by step pictures and a video. This methi pulao or methi rice is very tasty, nutritious and one pot meal recipe. Healthy Pulao/Pulav prepared with chopped Methi or Fenugreek leaves, Cashews and spicy ingredients mixed with cooked Rice and Kabuli Chana.

Steps to make Methi pulav:
  1. Soak basmati rice in water for at least 30 minutes. Soak more time for better texture
  2. In a pan take ghee + cumin seeds + bay leaf + cinnamon stick. Sauté for awhile and ginger garlic paste and onions and sauté until it turns golden brown
  3. In a mixer take coconut + coriander leaves + poppy seeds+ cardamom + cloves + green chilli and grind a rough mixture
  4. Now add methi leaves to the pan and sauté for few minutes. Add the mixture from step 2 here and mix well.
  5. Now add half boiled vegetables + green peas salt + cashews + bisibele bath powder + lemon. Once it boils add soaked basmati rice and add equal proportion of water and cook for 20 minutes in medium flame.
  6. Serve it hot with salad
