  1. Prepare Masala Mix
  2. Get 1 tbsp coriander powder
  3. Prepare 1 tsp red chilli powder
  4. Make ready 4 tsp biryani masala
  5. Take 1 tsp jeera( cumin)seeds
  6. Prepare 3 fresh green chillies
  7. Take 1/2 cup curd
  8. Take 2 tsp salt
  9. Take 2 tsp Coriander leaves
  10. Get 1 tsp mint leaves
  11. Make ready 1/2 tsp Haldi(Turmeric) powder
  12. Take Vegetables
  13. Prepare 2 Potatoes
  14. Make ready 5-6 French beans
  15. Take 1 Carrot large cuts
  16. Prepare 1/4 cup peas
  17. Make ready 200 gram Paneer
  18. Take 1 cauliflower
  19. Prepare Rice
  20. Get 200 gm rice
  21. Get 1 tbsp oil
  22. Prepare 2 Cardamom
  23. Get 1 black Cardamom
  24. Prepare 1 tsp cumin seeds
  25. Take 1 Cardamom
  26. Get 1 bay leaf
  27. Prepare 1 tsp lemon squeeze
  28. Take Others
  29. Prepare 2 tsp ginger garlic paste
  30. Get 1 fried onion
  31. Get 1/2 cup curd
Instructions to make Veg Dum Biryani:
  1. Take a bowl and add 1/2 cup curd, 1 tsp coriander powder, red chili powder, 1/2 tsp turmeric powder, coriander leaves and mint leaves. Mix everything properly.
  2. Cut potato, cauliflower, carrots, paneer and French beans into large shapes and add them in the bowl. Add peas and mix everything all together.
  3. In a pan add water, cardamom, black Cardamom, cinnamon, bay leaf, salt, cloves into the water and bring it to boil
  4. When the water is boiling add rice to it and cook till it's half cook.
  5. Into a pressure cooker add 3 tsp of ghee
  6. In hot ghee add cumin, green and black Cardamom, cinnamon and fry till it's aromatic
  7. Once the spices are done, add ginger garlic paste to the cooker and cook till it's done
  8. Add veggies to the biryani mix into the cooker make sure the veggies are done upto 70%
  9. Add fried onion to the mix and mix it properly
  10. Adjust the consistency of the mixture using curd
  11. Add a small quantity water to the cooker
  12. On top of the mix lay down a layer rice and top it with fried onions and saffron milk mix
  13. Add another layer of rice and top it with the fried onion and ghee to the top. Add little pudina and garam masala on the top
  14. Close the lid of pressure cooker and heat it for 1 minute.
  15. Then keep the pressure cooker on top of a flat pan and cook it on low flame for 15 minutes
  16. After 15 minutes remove the cooker from flame and keep aside for 10 minutes without opening the lid.
  17. Serve fresh with curd or salan
