Simple Way to Make Super Quick Homemade Chop Suey

The ingredients needed to make Chop Suey:
  1. Take 100 gms Cabbage thinly chopped
  2. Prepare 70 gms Bellpepper (any color)
  3. Take 100 gms Carrot julienned
  4. Take 50 gms French Beans chopped diagonally or as desired
  5. Get 30 gms Green / Spring onion chopped
  6. Prepare 6-7 Garlic cloves chopped
  7. Prepare 50 gms Onion sliced
  8. Prepare 1 Green chilli chopped (optional)
  9. Get 150 gms Noodles boiled and cooked as per packet instruction
  10. Make ready as needed oil to fry the noodles
  11. Take 2-3 tbsp oil for cooking (use same fried oil)
  12. Get 1 tsp Soya sauce
  13. Make ready 4 tsp Tomato sauce
  14. Make ready 3 tsp Red chilli sauce
  15. Get 1 1/2 tsp Corn flour
  16. Make ready 1 cup water
Steps to make Chop Suey:
  1. Prepare the vegetables as mentioned in the ingredients list.
  2. Boil and fry the noodles and keep it ready on the serving plate.
  3. Add 2-3 tbsps oil in a wok / kadai / pan and add the garlic and onion chopped,saute and then add the chicken chunks and stir fry for 5-10 minutes
  4. Then add the carrot and beans and cook, after sometime add the cabbage and bellpeppers.
  5. Add the green onion too and stir fry everything, adjust the flame accordingly so that the veggies don't stick n burn. Once veggies are cooked add the soya sauce first and mix then add the tomato sauce and Red chilli sauce and mix. Prepare the corn flour slurry with water and add it and mix so that no lumps form and cook for another 2-3 minutes…check the thickness of the gravy, if it thickens too much add little hot water as required. Divide and pour it on the fried noodles.
  6. Make sunny side up egg and top it. Serve hot !!! Bon Appetit!
